PMPCitizen™ · Global Dynamics Consulting

Privacy Policy

Effective 3 October 2026

This policy explains what personal data PMPCitizen collects, why, who can see it and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to run your PMP journey with us.

1. Who we are

PMPCitizen™ is a product of Global Dynamics Consulting (GDC), Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. GDC decides how your personal data is used on PMPCitizen and is responsible for it. Questions about your data go to the PMPCitizen Office at sdm@pmpcitizen.com.

2. What we collect

  • Eligibility check: name, email, phone, country and city, education, project experience, why and when you want to study, how you heard of us, and your answers to the short diagnostic.
  • Application: your chosen class, home chapter, ID type and number (for the name on your certificate), an optional CV, and, if your employer sponsors you, the company’s contact, approver and purchase-order details.
  • Account: your name, email, password (stored only as a secure hash), role, and an optional profile photo, headline and experience.
  • Learning: class attendance, contact hours, practice and mock exam answers and scores, coaching sessions and readiness reviews.
  • Payments: proposals, invoices and the payments recorded against them. Card and mobile-money details are handled by the payment provider (Pesapal or DPO), never stored by PMPCitizen.
  • Community: what you post, reply, react to or upload, and who you follow.
  • Certified PMPs: your PMP certification details and the PDU activities you submit for review.
  • Help requests and messages you send to the Office.

3. How we use it

  • To check your eligibility, follow up on your application, prepare proposals and invoices, and admit you to a class.
  • To run your class: attendance, contact hours, your certificate of completion and its public verification page.
  • To provide coaching, practice exams and your readiness score.
  • To run the community and your public profile.
  • To send emails about your application, class, coaching and account, and a weekly community email you can turn off.
  • To keep the platform secure (sign-in protection, audit records of staff actions) and to improve it.

4. Who can see it

  • The PMPCitizen Office sees applications, payments and help requests. Your CV and ID number are seen only by the Office.
  • Your instructor and coach see your attendance, progress and practice results for their classes and PMP Candidates.
  • Your employer, if it sponsors you, sees your attendance and progress only if you agreed to share it.
  • Other members see what you post in the community and your public profile. A class space is visible only to that class and its staff.
  • Anyone with your certificate number can verify it: your name, the class, the contact hours and the dates.
  • Service providers who host the platform, send email and process payments, only to do that work for us.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with PMI. PMPCitizen does not report contact hours or PDUs to PMI; you do that yourself in PMI’s systems.

5. Cookies and your device

We use one cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and there are no third-party analytics on PMPCitizen. Your light or dark appearance choice is remembered on your own device only. If you install PMPCitizen as an app, it keeps a few pages on your device so it opens without a connection.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your account and learning records while your account is open, because certificates, contact hours and PDU records must stay verifiable. Applications that do not lead to admission, and their CVs, are kept only as long as needed to follow up. Invoices and payment records are kept for as long as Tanzanian tax law requires.

7. Your choices and rights

  • See and correct your profile at any time in your account.
  • Turn off the weekly email from its unsubscribe link or your settings.
  • Ask the Office for a copy of your data, for a correction, or for your account to be closed and your data deleted. Records we must keep by law (such as invoices) are kept for that time.
  • Withdraw consent you gave, for example to share progress with your employer.

8. Security

Passwords are stored as secure hashes, connections are encrypted, sign-in attempts are limited, and personal files such as CVs are kept outside the public website. Staff see only what their role needs, and important staff actions are recorded.

9. Changes and contact

If we change this policy, we update the date above and tell members of important changes. Questions or requests: sdm@pmpcitizen.com, or Help.
